The INGSTRÖM ESCAPE CHUTE was patented and first marketed by AB Mobiltex OY (the inventor's company) in 1982, and has produced in
excess of 3,000 units since then.Mr. Stig Ingström is the inventor of the Ingström Escape Chute. He is based in Finland and has been a specialist in the textile industry for over forty years. In 1982, he focused on
the marketing of the Escape Chute system worldwide.
AB Mobiltex OY is now the major supplier of escape chute evacuation systems throughout the world.
The earliest installation, is
at the Fire Brigade Training Academy in ESBO, Finland. This unit has been in constant use by all students of the Academy since 1982 and is still fully operational.
AB Mobiltex OY established an office in the
Australasian region in 1998 to enable it to expand it's operations and to develop close working relationships with it's customers, distributors and agents in this region.

FAR EAST PTY LTD ( ABN 44 075 965 089 ).
The managing director is Mr. Zacke Waldeback who has been involved both in the safety industry, and with the marketing of the Ingström Escape chute over the last 15 years.
